Mr. Klöckner is one of Germany’s most prolific and critical authors, with numerous books on current affairs, journalism, and sociopolitical issues. In 2024 and 2025 alone, he has written two important books on militarism in Germany, both of which I consider highly significant. Last year, he published “War-Ready: Germany’s Mobilization on the Home Front”, and this year he co-authored the work “Chronicle of a Foretold War: Ukraine and the Failure of Diplomacy” with American historian Marc Trachtenberg.
